Can I press charges because he posted nude pictures of me online?
My ex boyfriend posted naked pictures of me on facebook, that he had from 3 years ago. I guess he is upset with me that I met someone else and am happy. But he has had another girlfriend for those whole 3 years. I really am not one to retaliate. It's really immature. Is there anything I can do legally?
I took them myself. We were dating. I sent them to him. Now I know better. That is the first and last time I will ever!

Yes. Get a lawyer. They love this kind of stuff. First thing would be to serve a "cease and desist" order on him. He must remove the pictures from the web. Get evidence of the pictures and his URL beforehand too.

You can indeed bring charges. Call the cops and report his behavior.

If you were underage, you could press child porn charges against him.
Other than that, I'm not sure, hopefully someone else has a better answer for you. I would think there could be some kind of harassment charge.

If you consented to him taking the pictures (which will be especially hard to argue against if you are posing in them), then you're probably SOL. Next time, exercise better judgement.

Edit: If you gave him the pictures, they are his an he can do with them what he wants.

Contact facebook first- they'll take them down as they violate the terms of service.

However the legal aspect depends on the situation behind the taking of the pictures. Did he pay you for them? If so, they're his pictures and he can do whatever he wants. Did he take the photographs himself? If so than he has a right to publish his work as a photographer, but perhaps not to make money from it, as you are the model.

There's a lot that goes into that, it's not cut and dry. Chances are that if it was with his camera, in his house, and he took the pictures, you might be screwed.

first contact facebook an tell them they should be able to take them down. but if you arent old enough he could go to jail. if the photos arent dating there isnt proof that you are of age.. just tell him to pull the photos or you sue.
