How to get notification sound for Facebook Chat?

Just recently, my facebook page stopped making the noise whenever I'd get a notification. My volume was up, I could watch youtube videos on facebook, and even in the settings, the box for "play sound for new message" was checked. I tried restarting my computer, muting and then unmuting my volume, and checking and unchecking the box. Someone please help?

Try reinstalling the sound driver for your computer.
