Just got a new phone and phone number and recieving somebody elses facebook notifications?

I Just bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 with a new phone number and have been recieving somebody elses facebook notifications. I assume they had that phone number before and have not turned it off or updated their phone number in facebook. It's not like I can log into their account and try to fix it. Anybody have any suggestions?

take it back to the store they can get the notifications to stop being sent to the phone! good luck!

or, contact the original owner if you love this 1 phone number so much you'd rather die than get it changed for free in less than 5 minutes
