How private is private browsing in IOS5 for iPod touch 4g?

Is it private if you share your iPod with someone else or can it also be private for a home server. It was recommended to me, because I like to keep my Facebook profile private from my brother, don't want him to see my profile. I'm not doing nothing illegal, just like my privacy. He has a home server and I was wondering since this does not store history or cache and cookies. Can the URL be seen in his home server. Can he still now where I've been.

I don't know.But to tell you one thing when I shared with Icloud I was sharing with my dad.So I had his contacts on my Ipod.I decided to erase them and guess what...They were also erased on his phone.Had a lot of trouble after.So,facebook and all that is not shared.But music,contacts,pictures,etc.But not apps and safari search histories ...
