How to break up with a controlling boyfriend?
I've been with my boyfriend since the end of high school. We have been together for over a year. I don't feel happy at all. I feel very insecure and just tired. I feel like I lost myself. I have no friends anymore... I even deleted Facebook for him. When I see him I feel like its a chore. We stopped talking after an argument a few hours ago and I don't want to talk to him ever again. I really hope he never try's to talk to me again..

Well tell him that your done enough is enough and you don't want to be with him no more since you said he is controlling he will accuse you of wanting yo be with some other guy don't let anything he says get to you just say whatever and be done... do it over the phone or in a text controlling guys are often abusive or may become abusive be careful and good luck

Obviously it's not going anywhere because he's taking the life out of you don't give up that easy though I would call him ANd try to work on things go to a movie go ride a bike bowling anything to keep it from getting worse and if it's like this end it now before it gets too late or work it out and go out more often so you don't feel the life bring taken from you

Honey, let me tell you the first thing you need to do. You need to reactivate your FaceBook account. There is no logical reason that you should not be allowed to have that. Second, you need to talk to him about what it is specifically that you don't like that he's doing. If he is not willing to change, you tell him that you shouldn't be treated like this, and that you're done. If he is willing to change, give it a month or so. See if you see a change. Everytime he messes up, you tell him that he did something you don't like. Tell him as soon as he does it though. If not, just tell him you don't think it's going to work out. That would be if you are willing to try and save the relationship. If you can't remember why it is you started to date him, and how it felt, then you could easily end it with no regrets. But if you can try and remember the feeling, you will most likely want to continue the relationship. Here's a good quote to tell him "I'm your girlfriend. Not your dog. You don't own me". It usually gets through to people.
good luck! |
