How do I tell my parents I'm gay?

I'm 15 and openly gay at school but when I get home I pretend I like girls my parents don't have problems with gay people but I'm still scared to tell them how would I go on telling then

There's not an easy way to do it, either way it takes courage. You could write a letter or email, sit them down and tell them face to face (can be possibly best or worst way, depending on how they take it), or even bake a cake, LOL. It doesn't matter, you have to be determined to tell them or you wont go through with it. Whatever method is best for you, the longer you wait and the more comfortable you become, it might also become easier to get the words out.

well, i just blurted it out one night after dinner then i ran up to my room crying. but then my parents came up and told me it is ok as long as im happy that all that matters and that they kinda knew anyways.

If they know you, then they probably already accepted it before you realized you were gay. But then again there are those parents who chose to stay oblivious because they are in denial. If you are ready just tell them...... What ever the outcome......it gets better.

You shouldn''t have to hide who you are, if your parents don't have an issue with gay people just set them aside and just tell them you have something to say be truthful with them if you don't feel comortable telling them in person do what i did and send an email or if you have social networking when i told my mom i did it through facebook i was scared to see how she reacted in the end she told me she loved me in the end no matter what. And from experience should they be shocked or may seem upset just remember it takes time this happened with my father but also know they love you no matter what. I wish you luck

DONT DO IT, i did and now i live with my aunt, i thought that they didnt had any problems with it, also i dont think there is a big difference between being gay or s8 at being 15
