why wont facebook let me view my notifications?

it says i have a new notification and when i click on the icon, it only shows the notifications i had last week i tried on my laptop, phone and ipod and is still the same. as many times as i refresh it it wont let meee any idea how to get it to normal? help needed!

try signing out and signing back in

Did you try hitting "see all notifications" at the bottom? That might help you see it.

Maybe you should change your browser. If that wont help try to reinstall the browsers u got. Or maybe deactivate and then activate your fb acc.
