He is 76 now an unmarried, there is no connection an no facebook of ant kind.

Look through all family members, online search, in any communities he could be living in. If you have address, write a letter as someone else suggested. I would certainly not let any other time go by, never know how long any of us have on this planet. I think you would regret it if you did not catchup to him........ If it were me, I would.
