How can I take myself off of someone's favorites list on Facebook?

My mom has me on her "close friends" or "favorites" list on facebook and she gets notifications and texts whenever I update my status or add a picture or something, and she always comments on them or likes them and it gets really annoying and kind of embarrassing, but I don't want to say anything to her about it. Is there any way I can remove myself from it? Thanks!

When you do update your status or take a picture, use the "custom" option. Add your mom to the "hide this from these people", or something like that, option. She will not be able to see you posted that _____ unless you were friends with, say... your brother, and she were able to access his account and see the pictures or statuses that you maybe did not hide from him. It all depends on what she has access to.
