How to make notification for facebook message appear again after read?

I have read one of my messages on facebook and I know how to mark it as unread. However, I would like to make the notification come back up on the top of the screen so I remember to check the message again in a couple of days, when I need to. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks.

I don't think you can for notifications, because once you click on it or mouse over it, the notifications will be automatically marked as read. You can only change it to unread if it's sent as a message in your inbox. Hope this helped!
