can people see what my deleted Facebook status said?

I had a facebook status where one of my friends commented on, and in the comment, she tagged someones name on it.
I didn't want the tagged person to see my status so I decided to delete my post.

1) Some of my friends who had already seen the status tells me that even after I deleted my post, they can still see it on their newsfeed. Does this mean that other people can also still see my deleted post too?

2) Even if the post is successfully deleted, i'm assuming that the tagged person got an email notification saying that he got tagged in a post. Can the tagged person still see my deleted post? Plus, does the email notification tell the receiver what the post said?

email notification wont tell the what the post said. May be your friends can see it, because it already in their news feed. others will never see it because it is not there in your timeline.
