How to you hide your birthday on facebook?

The question is not as simple as what is stated above.
I mean how do I make sure nobody gets the notification on my birthday.
I have seen other answers, but facebook has changed and I need some help with this one

P.S. If you are wondering what my intentions are for hiding my notification, it is because I don't want my friends to know via facebook that it is my birthday, I want to see if they can actually remember. Sometimes, technology gets in the way of true wishes...

Go to Account then click on Account settings. Click on custom settings and there u can change anything u want. Find Birthday click customize and select the "Only me" and then click save settings. Thats it.

~~Fb requires a birth date so you are not able to just delete it. However you can change your settings to "only me" and no one else can view or see it.

Go to ACCOUNT then PRIVACY SETTINGS then scroll to the bottom and click CUSTOMIZE SETTINGS then change it to "me only"

Go to the Date of Birth
And choose not to show history for friends
So no one can know the history of Birth
