Why has he not changed his facebook relationship status?

My male friend broke up with his girlfriend about a month ago.It was his choice because he didn't want to be in a relationship. However he still hasn't changed his facebook relationship status. I know this is stupid but I kinda have a crush on him. Why do you think he hasn't changed it?
He is definitely not still going out with her. He could still like her I suppose but it was his choice to break up with her. He could of forgot I suppose.

He probably wants people to think he is to keep a distance, he found someone else and lied or maybe he forgot... That's only three logic answers!

1 - forgot
2 - could still be dating her, unless it's completely obvious.
3 - he still likes her
Maybe you should ask him about it, but don't be too pushy. Just ask something like, "Are you still going out with -insert ex's name here-?" or "Are you single?"

It doesn't really matter who broke up with who. Guys hurt just as much as girls, and he probably wasn't ready. If he wanted his distance from other girls, then he would hide his fb relationship status. He's not ready, don't worry. It just takes time.
