I do think you should get one. I understand that one might feel a need to get a facebook to be in touch with their friends and relatives. So yes get one and eventually maybe you can talk to your parents about and hopefully they will understand. you never know they might decide to get one of their own.

Tell your parents thats why you want a facebook but if they are the kind of parents that dont want you to have a facebook they probably check once in a while to make sure and also you might show up on google if you are tagged or whatever tell your parents how you feel and ask about MSN AIM and that kind of thing
