Whats it mean when a girl adds u as a sibling on facebook?

Ive had a couple girls do this and i don't see why and id like the know why cuz i find it odd. and they arnt my relatives in any way

Among my school everybody who's like really close friends adds eachother as brothers, sisters mothers etc. just because. It's kind of a symbol that you're really good friends.

i add my friends all the time as my aunties and daughters and stuff well they prob like you ha ha or they are trying to be closer to you on facebook or they would like to get to know you better... i don't know its normal tho

My hubby says it means you're in "the friend zone"... aka she doesn't see you as a guy, just a brother. Sorry, no action from her.
