Should you not put your real birthday on facebook?
someone said you should never do this, that it is a prime way for people to perform identity theft
so what do you guys do? should i really take any precautions? thanks! Ads |

i only have my month and day showing. you dont need to show your year. or you can set it so only friends can see that stuff

Hello ,
Always enter false info into accounts like this . Simply write down all info and save just in case the website needs you to confirm what you entered in case of a lost password, error issues etc. . |

It depends.
If you're going to add everyone and their mother/father/sister/brother, then put a false birth date. If it's just going to be your real friends and such, then I'd say to put your real one. Since I'm careful and don't add people I don't know, I just put my real birth date. (That, and if anyone is going to steal my identity, they must be quite bored). |

No you really shouldn't put too much personal information on there.
especially if your a teen age gal. |
