I am 14 and my mom wont let me get a facebook, but she never said anything about getting a twitter account. I want to write a note to her or just tell her that i am responsible enough to have a twitter. what can i say or write to persuade her?

A twitter? your friends most likely WONT have twitter, the only reason she wont allot facebook is due to the privacy settings, and that is a parents worry, i know because my mom is like that to.

And twitter is more privacy OPEN meaning people can see more about you without becomming a follow / friend.

Explain to your mom that privacy settings on facebook HAVE changed. You will ONLY add people you KNOW and you will allow her to view people your adding.

its general knowledge, you dont add strangers. and never agree to meet up with people over facebook unless you have seen them irl and your mam knows about it.
