Are the olympic athletes really tweeting?
They trained for four years to have that one moment to win a medal and do you really think they wake up and are able to read all the tweets sent to them? I tweet and it'd takes over 30 mins to read and reply to my friends. Do you think they have time to waste? Also, most of the pictures on their twitter account is of them from a distance. How can they hold the camera that far? It looks to me they have someone tweeting for them. What are your thoughts?

They must be scanning, not reading all those tweets. Yes, many of them probably have a publicist or friend or relative helping them, but probably they can tweet during breaks. If they have a sponsor, the sponsor probably helps with social media expert support. Amazing how many athletes have done stupid things on twitter or Facebook and been penalized.
