Can someone help me with uploading a twitter profile picture?

I accidentally deleted my previous picture and tried to upload one from iphoto on my mac. I tried several pictures as well as pulling several off my facebook onto my desktop and nothing worked. I don't know what to do, can someone help?
I found the place to upload, select the picture, and when it refreshes is still blank.

I'm confused, why won't they upload? Are they just not appearing or can't you find out where to upload them?

Hi Paxis. I have been having a VERY hard time uploading a profile photo to Twitter also. I have tried about twenty times. I don't recall the pixel size limits, but I read in the Twitter Help section that a profile pic had a minimum and a maximum size. If the picture is too small or too large, it won't appear when you go to save it. The following is taken from Twitter.com's Help pages. I hope it helps. I haven't tried these tips myself yet. Photo no go?
Some users are having trouble customizing their profile. This appears to be affecting both profile pictures and background images. Specifically, background image uploads claim to be uploading successfully but are not being displayed as the profile background after uploading and saving. Please make sure that you understand how to properly upload a background image. Also make sure that the image which you are trying to upload meets the image requirements specified here.

7/22/10 UPDATE: We've found that it helps if the image is a perfect square (example: 500x500 pixels) and as small a size as possible. Under 100 kb ideally. If you're having trouble uploading, please try to make your images within these requirements and then try to upload again. Our engineers are continuing to work on this problem.

Hi! for 3 days i cannot upload a profile pic. But when i searched google it helps if you can upload a png format that is in perfect square like 500x500 or 300x300. when i followed the instructions, i managed to upload my profile picture! yeah.
