Whats the whole deal with twitter?

What do you actually do on it except follow people? and how do you do whatever your meant to do?

You follow people. You reply to said people. You also post messages that are 140 characters or less.
Twitter's charm lies in its simplicity. Do not think too hard about it.

Its just another social networking site like Facebook, MySpace etc. Just make an account to find out ;-)

its a micro blogging site, as in you blog about your activities keeping it short and sweet, no longer then an sms text message.

an 'active and interesting' site is supposed to be updated between four and ten times a day (tap in stephen fry into the twitter search box and see his page hes compulsive and up dates almost hourly)

I have a twitter account but dont do enough interesting things to keep up followers or post regularly....took kids to school....went on yahoo answers.... lol

But its interesting to look at peoples activities, in a stalkerish kinda way i suppose lol there are loads of people on there but its nothing like Face book or Myspace really, you can send no gifts
