Do you like the new Yahoo Updates? Don't you find they take away your privacy & let everyone know what you do?

Doesn't really bother me too much. That's the way the world is heading.

Which updates let everyone know what you are doing? I would definitely be against anything of the sort, it's nobody's *^$! business. I don't do twitter or any of that other crap either. One thing that yahoo has done, that really pissed me off, is that when I go searching on the yahoo toolbar, then go to another part of yahoo that day or the next day, I get a bunch of ads for all the stuff I searched for. In other words, yahoo tracks every thing you search, then puts up ads for the stuff you searched for the day before, "tailoring" the ads to things you seach for. I don't generally search yahoo when I am logged in to my id anymore, I search them when I am logged out. It's similar to how they tailor ads to keywords whenever you post something out here. Some of those ads are in really bad taste, because a computer doesn't have the reasoning to understand if an ad based on a key word or phrase is really relevant to the post. If yahoo updates are letting other users know what I'm doing out here, I am not keen on that at all...

Maggs, if that is the way the world is heading, it is because we allow it. Doesn't make it right. And we do not have to allow such things.
