How do I let a girl know that she got my birthday wrong?
So I really like this girl. I met at my college's graduation party in June.
She was a freshman and I was graduating. We have been chatting on facebook; exchanging hello's, hows college, hows work etc.

Anyway I mentioned to her last week that I'm preparing for a professional certification exam that is required so get my license to practice.

Background info
1. This conversation happened last week of Oct

2. My birthday is in Mid-Nov

3. My exam is last week of Nov

4. Our college exams were held in Nov, almost always around the time of my birthday, so I haven't really celebrated my bday in the last 3 yrs. I don't think she knew this particular info.

5. My month and day of birth is displayed on my FB 'About' page and I don't think she checked it out.

The conversation went as follows:
Me: working with xyz co & studying for the exam and missing the college life
She: oh nice!
Me: ya work is fine. wish i didn't have to worry about another exam on my bday
She (4 days later): Belated Happy Birthday Smile

Did she think my b'day was last week, i.e. when I told her about having an exam on my birthday??

How do I tell that my bday wasn't last week without making her feel stupid.

Should I just say 'Thanks' and change the topic (my exam has been postponed)? She probably won't notice the facebook notification of my birthday since she will be busy with exams.

Thanks

Just tell her. Don't beat around the bush.

Yea, don't over react on this one. You're making assumptions.
Tell her that you don't normally do anything on your b'day, but maybe she would like to spend time with you and make it special?
You have a great way of getting together - maybe she is sending you a hint?
Go for it!
