I want to block someone on Facebook without deleting them?

I have relatives on my Facebook, and I don't want them to see any of my posts (statuses, comments, etc.) and I was wondering if I could do that. I want to block them and prevent them from seeing my posts, but I don't want to delete them off my friends list either. Plus, I don't want them knowing. Is there a way I can do this?

You can't block someone without deleting them as soon as you block em they become deleted

When you are updating your status etc, you will see a small padlock symbol, click on this and then click customize, and it will say hide from > in this box type the name of the friends who you want to hide your status update and posts etc from, but you will have to do this for every update/post etc.

in your privacy settings you can modify how this user sees your profile. You can stop them from seeing your wall, your photos, your updates, your friends etc....
You would have to dig in but the settings are there.
