How to change your profile pic on this? ?

It bothers me so much that I have a little exclamation mark for my picture on this xD I've seen others that have pictures or avatars, I was wondering how to change it? 0: thanks(:

You can upload a photo, use a Yahoo! cartoon, or use one from Facebook or Twitter as your avatar.

STEP 1.
Your profile is currently HIDDEN.
In order for your avatar to appear you may have to make your Yahoo! Profile visible. Try the other steps and come back here if it does not appear.
Go to: http://profile.yahoo.com/y/settings/privacy/ and make sure the profile is not hidden.
There is no reason to hide your profile. Nothing appears unless you enter it and turn a switch on. The name can be anything you want.

STEP 2.
If you want to use your Facebook or Twitter avatar be sure to link the sites in the Profile options.

STEP 3.
To create a cartoon avatar first go to http://avatars.yahoo.com and create one.

STEP 4.
You have 3 choices of where to choose the photo to use.

✔ While at http://avatars.yahoo.com click on "Yahoo!" under "Export your Avatar".

✔ Go to your Yahoo! Answers settings at http://answers.yahoo.com/my-activity/edit/about and click on "Update photo or avatar"

✔ Go to your Yahoo! Profile at http://profile.yahoo.com and click on the current avatar.

Upload one or choose an existing one. The same avatar is used throughout Yahoo!.
[The cartoon avatar from step 3 is does not appear as a choice in the Yahoo! Profile. Use one of the other 2 methods.]

NOTE: Procedures on a portable device may be different. I can not help you with that.

You must first change your profile from hidden to public or your avatar won't show. To do that:Click your avatar, click view pulse click settings top line. Under privacy click manage privacy settings uncheck hide my profile Click save. Then.
You could choose either a cartoon or a photo avatar

Cartoon, this way is fast, straight forward and easy. Go below, create your avatar and save. Then, click your current default avatar then click edit my preferences and you will see where to check use avatar.

Move the second tab so it says Your profile is currently visible.

2 ways to do it.
Go to My Activity, top center, click Edit my Preferences then click Update Picture or Avatar, all your images will be displayed. Click on a image or avatar a orange box will appear around it,
you can remove it or select it as your display avatar. You can also upload new images from here. After you select a display image click SUBMIT at the bottom of the next page.

On the next page click on the box where your ! avatar is. On the next page under your avatar click change picture.

Go to view my Yahoo profile, click edit then click change picture. It will tell you to upload a pic from your computer and what size it should be. Just follow the instructions.
