What will convince my mom to stop treating me like a baby?

My mom doesn't want me to grow up!!!! (I am 13)

1. Not allowed to wear a 2 piece bathing suit because its "too revealing"
2. Not allowed to get a Facebook
3. Not allowed to have a bra, which i have needed since like last year (I have to wear stupid undershirts which I HATE because they don't even work and they are hot)

what can I do?

ok im 13 too and a similar thing happend. but i convinced my mum to get me a 2 piece bathing suit by telling her i want to have a swimming party and if i dont have a 2 piece bathing suit everyone will laugh at me. tell her that you HAVE to eb cool!!! ask her about when she was this age. lol. im not allowed to get a facebook yet either.. but thats because i used to go on the internet too much!! DONT do that!!! just say all your friends have it! and ... tell her you REALLY need a bra.. tell her that you dont like the undershirts-- itchy maybve say they give you a rash. hope it works xxxxx i fell you

Lol i'm 15 and i can't have a facebook! I can wear a two-piece,but the bra thing is a little extreme. Try and talk her into letting you wear training bras at least! The best way to get your point across is by talking to her,let her know how you feel about your situation and hopefully she'll understand

what i did when i was your age was :

i sat down with my mom and spoke to her like an adult. I looked up "ways to persuade parents" on google (which helped a lot)

i began showing in different situations that i was responsible and mature.

tell her that you will add her on facebook and you will keep your profile private and not post any pictures of yourself and not write any personal information of yourself on your profile.

tell her that you have to grow ups sometime and she has to be willing to allow you to do that. tell her that "growing up" happens to everyone.

make sure you DO NOT raise your voice....DO NOT threaten her....and DO NOT use common 13 yr old language when you are trying to persuade her.

Just try your best to show her how mature you are. Firstly, don't complain out loud about these matters, instead accept the fact that your mother knows best. This alone might show her that you are old enough for these things. Maybe ask her if you can try out a tankini or monokini, which or two types of swim suits that are a little more revealing than a one-piece, but still cover a large amount of skin. As for the Facebook accounts, try suggesting that you two share an account until she trusts you enough to have your own. Even then, allow her to have frequent looks over your wall, friend list, etc. For the bra, simply tell her that you are developing into a woman and need one. If she refuses to let you get one, tell a trusted female family member, and maybe they can talk some sense into her.

Tell ur mother in a calm nice voice thAt your 13 your a big girl now and if your breasts r developing it's a good thing u wear a bra rather then some under shirt for a couple of reasons like a undershirt will still show your breast another reason is I heard u can get breast cancer from not wearing a bra . Now tell your mom a 2 piece bathing suit is more cooler especially In this heat . Also I know a trick that can get u facebook tell your mom u would like to connect with family memebers and u miss them so much also tell ur mom that facebook will allow me to plan stuff with friends . Now while saying this don't get whiny and demanding ask nicely
