Request her, once she adds you send her a message. Worked out well for me and screw the people trying to make you feel bad. They suck. Smile

I know how that shyness feels, here's what to do. Go to her profile and msg her and say nice words to make her comfortable with you, reach to a point were you ask if she is bi, if she says yes make her know that you are bi too, ask her if she's with someone if she's not ask her if she would want to be with you. She might be shocked but wait for her to reply, when she says yes ask her if she would want to be your girlfriend and make it part of both of your profiles on facebook. Ofcourse do this in several days not 1, best luck and best of wishes
