I want to buy an iPod touch because i want to have something to listen to music to on my way to college. And my boyfriend has one and i always play with the apps and go on facebook. Is an iPhone much different?
What are the differences?
And how much is it to buy songs on iTunes? and do you pay for apps?

iPhone and iPod Touch are identical in almost every way. My understanding is that the iPhone also has a nicer screen than the older iPod Touch does. Songs are the same cost as they would be for iPod Touch. iPhone also has internet from the phone company in addition to WiFi, and can send text messages.

Difference is:

iPhone: You can call people, get internet anywhere, text from anywhere.

iPod: You can text people but only where you have wifi and same with internet.

iPhone is just an iPod touch with the ability to call people and have internet anywhere PLUS you have to pay for a whole monthly plan with AT&T. Also, they both have been updated now to have a webcam in it. Again, iPhone can webcam people from anywhere, iPod only where you have wifi.

Its pretty much the same
the ipod touch is alot skinnier, and the iPhone has some differernt apps.
and you can call and text people with it. so thats the only difference.
im not sure how it costs to buy music on itunes..(i've never done it) and alot of apps are free but there are also alot that are like $0.99-1.99. but all the ones i have for my ipod touch are free, and i have like 5 pages full.
If you decididng which one to get, i would definatly get the iphone.
im kind of bored of my ipod because you cant call or text on it! and i would rather have an iPhone!!
