Facebook is giving me notifications for private messages but there is nothing in the inbox?
Is this some kind of error? Has this happened to you? It's giving me notifications for private messages, yet there is nothing in the inbox. What is wrong?
See, now I don't have any messages. I don't know why it did that.

Usually this happens when someone sends you a IM after you close Facebook or Facebook will get confused and send it to your inbox first when it actually meant to just send it as an IM. This problem started after Facebook started logging all IM conversations under the private message area.
Hope that makes sense.
