How to convince my parents to let me get a facebook?

I'm 12 years old going into 7th grade and I reAlly want a Facebook. My parents won't let me they say I'm too young and since my bro and Sis got one in highschool so Thats when I get one. But I want one now. My brother could care less if I got one. But it's my sister who would freak. Pleeeeaaaassssse help. How can i convince them.

sorry to break it to you but you can live without facebook. what would you do on it anyway? talk to complete strangers who might want to rob you and mess with your life? or talk to your friends who you can just write an email to? getting an email address is much easier than getting a facebook account.

I have the same problem. Convince them that your mature enough to get a Facebook. If they let you, make sure you give them a password to check your Facebook anytime. It will make it seem safer to them.

I had the same problem my siblings would freak cause they didn't get theirs till they were about 15, but I had to wait till I was 13 because 13 is the official age the Facebook allows you to have an account unless you lie about your age ( which is stupid ) ! I have had Facebook for less then a year and I am already bored on it sometimes, the only good thing about it is talking to your friends, and creeping hot guys profile [; so I wait till your 13th birthday and tell you parents that this is the age Facebook allows you to get it but you also have to prove that you are mature enough to have one. Honestly I think 9 year old kids shouldn't have one, I mean I shouldn't be talking since I am only 13 but Facebook is a place to contact your friends not share your whole personal life with them!
