how do I go about finding a childhood friend?

As a child, her sirname was Fitanti, Linda Fitanti. She married at a very young age and her last name became Gilbert. She divorced and became a single mother. She went to work at a Meijier's Thrifty Acres store in Flint, MI where we were both born. Her bitrhdate is 08/08/1948. Can anyone help me find her?

Also i dont know if you have ever seen this show on tv but its called The Locator and he helps people find family and friends! and you actually dont need to go on TV he does it prviately as well!
