What age do you think is appropriate for someone to get a MySpace or Facebook?

I think they should be old enough to understand the risks of putting yourself out there on the internet.
I'd say maybe 16 is a good age, but since Facebook requires a name, it's still pretty risky for someone that age.
I'd say that parents should make sure their children understand about these risks and use the sites maturely.

I would say that you should go by the age limit set by those sites. MySpace's limit is 14, not sure about FaceBook, but i think its limit is 13. So, 13-14ish. Just remember, the younger you are, the more you need to be careful with personal info!

Also, make sure parents are aware of that you have one. It is also a good idea to give them the password.

i think 16 for both! An age where your smart enough not to get out too much information about yourself to strangers!! even though people often take revealing photos and met stranger on myspace more often.

but yea one thing is u got to be careful on wht u put up ther...

i knw frnds whu put up all their personal info out ther nd add random ppl.....tht cud be risky but once u r smart enuf to knw tht u shud be careful then ther is no age.....nd its mostly ppl of age 15-19 whu r vulnerable to these sites....but anyways thts a personal opinion!!
