AND NO, IT IS NOT ON MUTE. When I use YouTube, the videos play but no sound works. Neither does the Facebook notification when someone has spoken to you. So I opened up iTunes to see if the songs would play and they do. Just nothing else is playing. Help!

not sure this helps but have you checked you flash player..mine would play on some sites but not others i searched net and it said update your Flash..that worked for me...
