How do I get more people to "like" my poetry?
I am 18 and published 2 poetry books, I need more ratings and reviews, so I created a facebook page to share my poems. How do I get more people involved? This is my page:
http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages...2401319722
I need more comments and reviews and generally more readers. How can I accomplish this?

Hi. By keep on posting and posting, and do not get discourage , you are doing the right thing for now. If you have other post sent some email to some of your friends asking them to stop by your page. Try adding some new contact to your facebook page this will help a lot, just tell everyone you know about your big goal. Good luck.

Try asking this in the Facebook category. This is the directory tree to get there:
All Categories > Computers & Internet > Internet > Facebook

joining forums might be a good small step to start from. Since your published, you don't have to worry about people taking your work and labeling it at their own.

you can share on sites such as http://pomesarepoems.com

Cierra,

I went to your Facebook Page and I am impressed with the page and your poetry. I have several Pages and am registered as a regular account. If you would like, go to:

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Mac-McGove...cmcgovern. I post poetry in my Photo Section.

Registering is free, and instead of Likes, you can have friends and relatives.

In order to get the most attention, I suggest AllPoetry at:
http://allpoetry.com
If you want to see how a site is set up, my site is:
http://allpoetry.com/mac_mcgovern

Another great site is PoetrySoup at:
http://poetrysoup.com
my site is:
http://www.poetrysoup.com/poems_poets/po...x?ID=17675

Both of these sites are exceptional. They are free, and the people there are more than happy to offer critique and advice on your work. I have been on these sites since 2004 and have had great success.

You are fortunate to be writng at 18. I f you are really serious about your writing, you will gain the respect of fellow poets, garner a following, develop your own unique style, and eventually publish your work. It does not happen over night, but the more poetry you publish on a site the faster you establish yourself.

I would be more than happy to help you on any of these sites if you decide to use them. Simply, leave me a message and I will return. Good luck, and best wishes on a very successful career in Poetry.

Mac McGovern
