I haven't had to pay child support in the past since my ex-wife was in the military and the housing and stuff was paid for. Now she has moved into a new home off base, and is remarried and is threatening to file for child support for our 16 and 14 year old girls. Will I have to pay?

Yes. As you should...the new husband shouldn't be responsible to pay the costs for your children. That's on you.

You should have been paying all along, regardless of HER living situation.

Of course you will if they are your children. They are your kids, why wouldn't you want to contribute?

Yes. And you should have been paying all along. Military housing may be free, but food, clothing, etc. is not. Suck it up and do the right thing by your kids.

Yes and you will be obligated now for all the past child support that you haven't paid.

You shouldn't need a court to tell you to be a man and take care of your kids you should have just started that on your own long ago.

even tho she got Bennie's from her job, does not give you a free pass on your support.
your kids, you should have already been paying your fair share...stop being a deadbeat with all these excuses why you have not been paying

yea you will have to pay,no threat, just a fact of life.

Yes, though I wonder how you got out of paying before.
