How do I contact my friend Mick Fox in Brisbane?
Mick Fox from Brisbane (proper name James Fox) and I worked together in London for a while and then spent a few wonderful weeks travelling around Europe with a couple of mates way back in the Sixties. I am now 68, and he was probably around the same age. How do I get in contact with him?

There are only five J Foxs' in the Brisbane white pages to try, however people with silent phone numbers aren't listed here.
As you haven't seen your mate since the sixties are you sure he would still be in Brisbane?

Another way to find him is to contact the Salvation Army on (07) 3222 6666. My mother was in England and tracked me down using this service about thirty years ago - a small donation was given at the time, but not expected.

Other ways are via the Electoral roll, or more modern ways like advertising on facebook, twitter, etc. Newspaper ads can work, but may prove to be an expensive exercise.
Some radio announcers are happy to put a call out for anyone who knows a person if you contact the station too. In Brisbane you could try B105 on (07) 3837 1053, 4BC on (07) 3908 8200, or River949 on (07) 3813 1000 for a start - remember the time differences, as many of these stations only man their switchboards between 8.00 am and 5.00 pm (Aust time)

I hope you find your friend, but Fox is a very common name, so as much information that you have the better.
