1. people do not interact face to face
2. texting while holding a conversation interferes with the conversation-lack of eye contact, lack of total attention
3. No one goes out to play and use their imagination
4. conversations become artificial in that cmplte wrds r nt usd 2 sa wat is rittn. So the language starts to break down. give examples, idk= I don't know, etc.
5. People email, twitter, facebook, chat, stc, and the personal conversations with privacy are lost.

People need face to face conversations to maintain the language. See the expressions, hear the melody of the speech (prosody).

Google your topic or Yahoo it and see what you find.

Technology has many effects on the social environment, many good, and many bad. The negative effects are outstanding among the others. Technology makes us feel loved, by a device, and people get so sucked in to that device, that it makes them go almost insane. Every day, you can go to your local mall or downtown and see many teenagers and adults all relying on simple human technology. Examples of these devices, as you already know: cellphones; computers; ipods; virtual gaming; fake robot pets... etc. The world will eventually go into a false sense of normal by relying on technology and have the whole system collapse. (thats all i got for now... email me)
