Facebook chat not working for me whats wrong?

It started late last night when i click the link to go in the chat room it basically either loads up and exits out quickly or it says facebook chat cannot connect that this time. When i try to refresh the window wnats to close. Whats going on?

Using any proxy server in your network? Is that your home computer or office/school computer? Your firewall might be blocking it too.

If you are using Facebook chat in the browser, try using it with an IM client like pidgin...Pidgin supports Facebook chat but you need to configure the correct settings.

This way, you don't even have to be logged into Facebook to use Facebook chat
