If you want to get heaps of people following you, the best way is to follow others. When you follow someone, you are placed in their 'Followers' category. If they see you in there, they might choose to follow you.

There are some programs on the internet that manage who you follow, it follows a lot of people, and therefore get a lot of followers. These programs can be hard to understand if you're not very good at computers.

If you want to follow a lot of random people. There is a solution.
1. Search for 'Obama' in the 'Find people' box.
2. Click on his 'profile link.'
3. Click on his 'Followers.'
4. Follow everyone on his 'follower's page.'
