How do I put the music symbol next to my name with spotify on facebook?

You know on the sidebar, where is shows who's online, and they have a green dot next to their names if their online? Sometimes my friends have music symbols next to their names on the side bar, and i scroll over it and it says what song they are listening to on Spotify. I have spotify connected to facebook, and i am playing music, but when I look at my sisters screen, theres no music symbol next to my name

If ur streaming music then there should def be a symbol. If u aren't listening at the same time you are cheeking if u have the symbol, then it obviously wont show cuz ur not streaming anything. Sometimes it doesnt work thou and just lags i guess
