Is there a way to block people from your newsfeed on facebook?

Like statuses, photos and stuff you share on there. I've had to add relatives that I don't even talk to and some I don't even really like along with a couple of little cousins. I don't want to remove them because I don't want them asking me why I did that. I just feel uncomfortable if they can read anything

Create a separate FaceBook profile? That way you can do your posting and sharing with those you really want to share with, and occasionally add a comment or two to your First facebook page to keep those relatives updated and whatnot.
