Is it safe to put personal information in a chat or private messages in facebook?
I don't post it on the walls but I was telling someone where my graduation ceremony will be and my mom is mad.

Stuff that should NEVER get out are SSN, mothers maiden name, birth date, & town of birth. Never let those out unless its for a loan or a new checking account.
Whenever a website askes for my birth date, I lie.
