How do I stop facebook from sending me SMS Text notifications?

I have a blackberry (not sure if this makes any difference) and a while ago I activated facebook for my phone and I clicked to receive facebook notifications via SMS text. I want to stop receiving notifications because it just gets to be too much and I don't want to go over my text limit if facebook is not verizon.

So.... how do I do this? Thanks so much.

I researched this problem for you. To stop getting text notifcations, folllow these steps.

1.) Go to Account on the top right of your Facebook profile.
2.) Click on Account settings
3.) Click on the Mobile tab at the top.
4.) Select "Texts are Off"
5.) Click on the Save Preferences button
