Speaking religiously, what happens when you pray for someone who lied about being hurt?

Nothing happens, whether the event really occurred or not.

Keep praying for the whole family to be exposed as liars. God said he would expose the sins of everyone. And love them anyway, without hanging out with them ever.

when you pray for someone who lied you have wasted your time. the same thing happens when you pray for someone who is really ill. prayer has no impact - other than to offer a little comfort to the ill or injured person. but you can offer comfort without prayer.

We have to forgive our enemies also. Keep praying for them to stop following the Devil and come to God and Jesus.
IF they are breaking laws, like trying to get money from people from the sight you spoke of, then have them arrested. For where the Bible tells us to forgive all. It also says IF a person is Not following and loving God, dose not want to stop sinning/crime and mean it, they should be arrested and put in jail.

That is why I tell people who ask me to pray for something that they need to make a sincere covenant with the Father that they will always obey all of Jesus' sayings ( greek text ) no matter what so that they will have the promise that they shall receive all of their heart's desires . Look at Jesus ; He even cars ed a fig tree to die right on the spot ; and it did .
