Would you give your facebook password to your girlfriend?
My girlfriend of 5 years asked for my facebook password and I don't quite understand why she wants to go through my stuff.I trust her and everything but isn't she trying to invade my privacy? I said no and she is pissed off now. Should I just give it to her since I don't have anything to hide?

No. If you do you can just as well not have a password. She is going to pass it on. A secret (privacy) is for only ONE person. The moment two know it is no longer a secret. Let her be pissed off, her immaturity.
Peace.

Well apparently the girl has some trusting issues. Do not give her your password. It is one of the few really private things people seem to have nowadays.
Talk to her and make her realize that through these 5 years, if you would have had any stupid cheating intention or internet crap with other people, you wouldn't have been with her still. Oh and tell her to get over herself and grow up!
Cheers!

Oh hecky naw.

You shouldn't give your Facebook password to anyone. Logically, there's no reason for anyone else to have it other than you - it's the key to your own personal profile and posts, and nobody else is posting on your behalf.

Why would she even ask to have it in the first place? Sounds suspect. Is there lying or cheating in either of your pasts? If so, you should forget about Facebook and handle that first.

As for FB, you might just explain that what she's asking is illogical. And stand your ground on this one, because there's really no reason to for her to ask for your password other than snooping.
