What does it mean when someone untags themself from a facebook photo that you tagged them in?

Ok so me and my boyfriend have been going out for 3 months we took a pic together i put it on facebook so he could have it well he untagged himself from that photo of me and him? what does all this mean

he didnt like the pic and didnt want his guy friends to see it on his profile

There are many possibilities here depending on what all is in the photo. for example.

1. Is there any smoking or drinking going on in the picture?
Because maybe he has family members as friends on facebook that would not appreciate this and maybe he doesn't want it on his news feed where all of his friends on facebook can see it.

2. Are you two doing anything that would be embarassing or immasculating to him if his guy friends were to see? Because he might not want them to see to save face.


3. Is he wearing a really ugly shirt or look high in the picture?
He could just not like this picture of himself.

4. or he could just be a bad boyfriend and not want the other girl too see... but don't rule out the other things...

5. it's only facebook don't look to far into it...
