How do I get rid of this feeling of jealousy?
Just whenever my girlfriend makes any contact with another guy at all, meaning talking, texting, facebook messages or just anything at all. i get a feeling of jealousy. i hate it. is their something seriously wrong with me?

Yes. Your problem is that you behave as if you own your girlfriend. You don't own her. She can do ANYTHING she wants to! If you don't approve of her behavior then you end the relationship.

Jealousy is an external manifestation of fear that you are projecting onto someone else. Stop being so afraid and maybe your confidence will leak into your relationships so you won't be so needy and dependent.
