how do I stop getting notifications from people sending me game requests?

I heard one of my friends say that she found a way to stop getting notifications about it but I can't remember how. Tried looking myself but I just can't figure it out and the constant requests are beginning to get really annoying!

Assuming you're talking about facebook, I would either block the people who send them form doing so, or the apps can be blocked if you have no intention of using them, I think if you hover over the little x and click it'll give you the option to do so.
