will my twitter account still come up with my name search on google even after deletion of account?
I already have facebook so I see no use of having too many social networking sites, Especially the fact that people feel the need to tell their life stories on there, I'm personally too busy with better things to do with my time than post or "tweet" about every little detail in my life. I'm happy with just facebook, for keeping in touch with close friends and family, some people I know but haven't seen in a while/rarely see and a few casual acquaintances. Having too many networks just creates clutter in my e-mail inbox and too much personal info is given about me when I google my name, which I don't want, so I deleted my twitter account. However, even after deletion, my name and account still shows up on google? twitter tells me that I have 30 days until my account is totally deleted, maybe I need to wait for then to become totally invisible even through a google search?

Sorry but once it's on Google it's there till the end of time whether you delete it or not and can be still be found years later!

Everything associated with your name will remained linked to it even deleted accounts.

NO such thing a privacy and anonymity on the internet. Everything you have written from the first day you used the internet is recorded somewhere by someone and can be dug up with little difficulty!

It will disappear, after googles robots have tried to view the page unsuccessfully a few times it will fall off the search engine

If twitter keep a "this user had deleted there account page" in place for a couple of years then it will still show as a link but the content will disappear in time.

Basically, prehaps it will go in 2 months, or it could be a few years, but it will go.
