Why won't facebook send me notifications when someone comments on my photo or status?

It's so annoying! Okay I just signed on and I had no updates. Then I went to my pictures and saw two people commented on them and it sent me no notifications?! And I noticed when I clicked notifications on the right it says what should notify you. So I clicked comments at the bottom but it still doesn't say I got Picture Comments although now it does say people have commented on my status.

I had this problem earlier this morning. Click on your notifications at the bottom right of the homepage, then click "see all." When that page is opened you will see a list of options on the right side that you can check or uncheck for notifications. The one that you're describing should be the one that says "feed comments." Check that one, and hopefully that solves your problem. Good luck!
