Whenever I log into facebook, internet explorer encounters a problem and has to close?

Whilst the page is loading i get this message "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." how can i fix this?

Download a new Internet Browser.

I use Firefox and Safari, and they run delightfully. I'd recommend either of those.
I found IE tends to lag etc.

I had this same problem with opening my yahoo email. I went ahead and downloaded firefox. Internet E has sooo many issues and tons of viruses and spyware etc roaming around on it. Firefox is a better choice for net surfing, in my opinion. Can't hurt to try it, it downloads quick and it is pretty user friendly. I have had no problems at all with the browser.

As far as why Internet E is doing that to you, I am not sure, I did everything I could think of to make it go away, cleaned out my hardrive, virus scan....I have been told that it is a Vista compatability issue.
